A former chapel in Ridgeway, Derbyshire, dating back to 1806, is among the lots to be offered at Mark Jenkinson & Son’s January auction.
The Grade II listed stone Methodist church has a guide price of £90,000-£100,000 and stands in grounds extending to nearly 1 acre. The church’s graveyard is not included in the sale.
In August, the vendor, the Methodist Church of Sheffield, was granted planning consent to convert the church into a single storey three-bedroom house.
The property is one of 24 lots which will be offered on 28 January at Sheffield United’s football stadium, Bramall Lane, Sheffield.
