Metro Bank, the first new high street bank to launch in the UK for more than 100 years, is to appoint five financial services heavyweights to its bard as it prepares to receive its banking licence from the FSA.
Metro plans to open in April with two branches in Holborn and Earls Court.
By the end of the year it aims to have 20 branches including sites in Borehamwood and Fulham Broadway, with eight more branches in 2011, and 200 branches, all in Greater London, by 2020.
