Meyer Homes has submitted two planning applications for developments in Hillingdon, UB10, and Woolwich, SE18, that provide 1,181 homes between them, alongside nearly 39,000 sq ft of commercial space.
The Hillingdon Gateway application aims to build 377 homes on the five-acre site adjacent to the Tube station, of which 20% will be affordable.
At Woolwich Central it has submitted plans for 804 flats alongside retail, office, community and affordable workspace.
Meyer Homes’ current portfolio is expected to provide around 4,000 new homes in London.
In 2015 it bought 14 sites from Tesco for £250m, which had the potential for thousands of homes.
Land and planning director Jamie Pearson said: “We have selected industry-leading professionals across our development portfolio.
“We aren’t interested in a cookie-cutter approach – each of our developments are led by site-specific opportunities.”
