MFI Furniture is preparing to shut down a sofa-making factory at Llantrisant, in Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Britain’s biggest furniture retailer has said it has begun a consultation on the closure which is expected to take place unless some other solution can be found. MFI has already announced plans to sell its 200 retail outlets in the UK.
