M&G Real Estate has completed the letting of its Optimus 205 industrial scheme in Leicester with a leasing deal to US multinational toy manufacturer Mattel.
The European arm of the owner of toy brands such as Barbie and Ghostbusters, Mattel Europa BV, has signed a ten-year lease for 205,760 sq ft at the distribution unit.
The warehouse, which was developed by M&G Real Estate with Wilson Bowden Developments, is part of the Optimus Point employment site, which is close to the M1 and to regional and international airports, with major UK ports within a two-hour drive.
