M&G snaps up Danish retail

EGN-27-Stroget-Copenhagen-S.jpegM&G Real Estate has bought a 39,051 sq ft high street retail asset in Copenhagen from GEC Gads Fond for €33m – a 4% yield.

Located on Vimmelskaftet, the building comprises two shops and office space and is fully let to six tenants.

David Jackson said: “With limited new supply of retail assets in the area and heightened demand from international retailers, Vimmelskaftet is perfectly positioned to offer us strong, long-term rental returns.”

M&G Real Estate was represented by Capital Investment; CBRE acted for GEC Gads Fond.
