Mike Slade was honoured for his services to the property industry at the annual PROPS Awards.
Slade, who received a lifetime achievement award, was one of a host of happy winners who packed the ballroom of the London Hilton Park Lane along with 800 people to celebrate the best of the best in property.
The charity event, held on 13 May, raised more than £300,000 for Variety’s powered wheelchair programme.
It was hosted by the cool, calm and comedic former England rugby union player Martin Bayfield, with Miss World 2014, Megan Young, also presenting. Team GB Paralympians Megan Wood and Freya Levy, who are also Variety ambassadors and powered wheelchair beneficiaries, also attended.
