Mileway appoints UK managing director

Last-mile logistics specialist Mileway has promoted regional director Andrew Jones to managing director for the UK. Jones has been regional director for the North West and Yorkshire at Mileway since 2020. Before Mileway, Jones worked at Hansteen for eight years, where he managed teams across the UK. He also spent six years at Ashtenne. Mileway said Jones’s deep understanding of the Mileway portfolio, which includes 7,000 leases in the UK, put him in a “strong position” to lead the UK team and its operations. Previous postholder Philip Cridge left the business at the end of last year to take a career break. Photo © Mileway
