Insurance broker Miller has appointed Christopher Dines as head of client service within a new real estate team.
In his new role, Dines will be responsible for building out a dedicated global real estate offering, catering to both wholesale and direct client channels internationally.
Dines will report to Martin Henderson, head of energy at Miller, and work in close collaboration with Miller’s wider construction team in establishing this new and complementary line of business.
Prior to joining Miller, Dines worked for Gallagher for more than 13 years, latterly as an executive director in the real estate team. Earlier in his career, he held a number of senior and underwriting roles across the real estate insurance sector, including at HSBC, Willis Towers Watson, Aon and RSA.
Tim Norman, managing director at Miller, said: “We see real estate as both a growth opportunity for Miller and a natural addition to our wider construction proposition, further enabling us to support the evolving needs of new and existing clients in London and internationally.”
