The City fears Minerva will have to offer more concessions to secure John Lewis as anchor tenant for its Park Place development in Croydon.
Minerva watchers have been unsettled by suggestions that the company might have to change the designs of the 1m sq ft development to meet John Lewis’s needs.
One rumour doing the rounds was that a stalemate over design might prompt the retailer to walk away.
Minerva closed down 15p at 275p.
