Oliver Whitehead CBE, the current chairman of Alfred McAlpine, has been appointed chairman designate of Minerva.
Oliver will take over from Andrew Rosenfeld as non-executive chairman at Minerva’s AGM in November.
Whitehead has been non-executive chairman of Alfred McAlpine since 2003. He was appointed chief executive at the building services firm in 1993.
Whitehead said: “Minerva is a well positioned company with an impressive development portfolio and a strong executive team experienced in both property and finance.
“I am pleased to be joining the board at a time of positive momentum for the company.”
Rosenfeld announced in April that he wished to step down as non-executive chairman of Minerva.
