Minerva is drawing up plans for a 0.8ha (2 acre) Square Mile development site. The company has slowly pieced together a site sandwiched between Cannon Street and the Mansion House. It has appointed Sir Norman Foster to design a 41,805sq m (450,000 sq ft) building worth up to £450m.
Minerva’s planning application for a nine-storey office block will be submitted in three months.
Andrew Rosenfeld, Minerva’s chief executive, has now completed the site jigsaw by buying a building occupied by Barclays Bank for £20m from USS.
