Minerva has submitted revised plans for a major mixed-use development on Kensington High Street.
The 194,200 sq ft scheme reduces the height of the development on the site of the historic 1920s cinema at 263-265 Kensington High Street, W8. The original plans were met with fierce opposition from campaigners including Benedict Cumberbatch and Richard Curtis and were thrown out by Kensington and Chelsea council earlier this year.
The new Squire & Partners-designed scheme retains the façade of the cinema, while the main building will be replaced with 62 homes and a seven-screen Picturehouse cinema.
Montagu Evans is advising on planning.
