Minerva wins consent for 1.32m sq ft Croydon scheme

Minerva announced today that Croydon council has resolved to grant planning consent for its 122,540 sq m (1.319m sq ft) Park Place development. The scheme’s 32,100 sq m (345,520 sq ft) anchor unit will be occupied by Allders.

Other key elements of the scheme include: a 54,884 sq m (590,766 sq ft) three-level shopping centre, including 110 new shops and 12 cafes/restaurants; a new public square fronting Allders, with cafes, restaurants and shopping; and the redevelopment and refurbishment of 14,960 sq m (161,000 sq ft) of offices for Nestle UK.
