A cinema soon to be confirmed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world’s smallest digital single-screen venue, went under the hammer at Nottingham-based HEB’s 27 February sale.
The three-storey block on 25 Broad Street in Nottingham sold for £230,000 from a guide of £225,000 – a yield of 11.54%.
The cinema was renowned in the 1960s for showing adult films, but now shows mainstream movies. It produces £27,300 pa. The sale was held at the Nottingham Gateway Hotel.
