MIPIM 2012: Thousands of property professionals will descend on Cannes this week for the annual MIPIM property conference, which kicks-off today.
Around 19,000 delegates are expected to attend the event in the south of France this year – broadly in line with last year’s numbers.
On the opening day of the conference attendees will hear from London deputy mayor Sir Edward Lister, who will give the 2012 keynote speech on London’s year of opportunity, before he opens the London stand.
The City of London Corporation keynote speech will be given by chairman of policy and resources, Stuart Fraser, on how the corporation is responding to the current global economic climate.
Around 90 participants in the Estates Gazette-sponsored Cycle to Cannes are also scheduled to arrive today.
The conference runs for three days concluding on Thursday 8 March.
