Fuelled on free coffee from Residential Land’s sofa-enhanced networking lounge and snacks proudly manufactured in various parts of the UK, the property industry convened yet again for MIPIM UK, at Olympia London, W14.
Keynotes from the likes of economist Tim Harford and global risk analyst Charles Hecker ran back to back to back with panel debates, pechakuchas and development showcases.
Time in between saw delegates pausing at stands proffering development opportunities, and the chance to take a virtual look into schemes and visions already underway.
Manchester and Liverpool presented a united front with a joint stand, and the UK government’s “Invest In Great” catchphrase featured heavily throughout the halls. Meanwhile, for the first time at MIPIM UK the London Stand was a feature, and a heavily-packed one at that.
Injecting some fun, HB Reavis had delegates cycling for their smoothies, with the blender churning with every pedal of the bike.
Finally, bookending the two days were breakfasts and VIP dinners for those lucky enough to bag an invitation.
