MGM Mirage has held detailed talks about a Manchester United-themed casino venture to take advantage of expected gaming deregulation in the UK.
MGM is scouring the UK for partners and potential deals. Manchester United owns land around its Old Trafford stadium on which a casino could be built.
Isle of Capri will build its first UK casino in Coventry and a new stadium for Coventry City football club.
