Mission Street launches tenant hunt for Cambridge innovation campus

DTRE and CBRE have been appointed to guide the marketing strategy for the Urban Innovation Campus, located east of Cambridge city centre.

The scheme, designed by Hawkins Brown Architects, is being delivered by a joint venture between Mission Street and BentalGreenOak.

The campus will span 23 acres and provide research and development space for grow-on companies. It is expected to provide an open, engaging and urban environment, with the Tins cycle path running through the middle of the site and Burnside Lakes located to the south.

Matt Smith, head of life science agency at DTRE, said: “Cambridge continues to attract innovators, and this development is delivering to a pressing need for specialist spaces.”

Chris Williams, head of life sciences for London and the South East at CBRE, said: “It will be a key new innovation district adjacent to the city centre aligning with the drive for the urbanisation of science.”
