Pub operater Mitchells & Butlers has sold the Holiday Inn Express in Crawley to Sojourn Hotels.
Offers of around £10m were sought for the long leasehold interest.
The sale comprises the 74-bedroom hotel, planning consent for a further 44 letting bedrooms and the site of the former
Julian Troup, corporate director at Colliers Robert Barry, said: “Despite the current economic uncertainty the sale of this hotel is further evidence of genuine interest in high quality hotels and prime trading locations.
“As a result of this a sale was concluded on the back of competitive bidding at a level that supports our views that quality continues to sell at reasonable levels.”
