The Ministry of Defence has confirmed Aspire Defence as preferred bidder for upgrading and providing services to the Army garrison at Aldershot and around Salisbury Plain.
The construction and maintenance PFI project is worth £5bn over 30 years. The work includes building a 36-man accommodation block at Perham Down.
Aspire Defence is a joint venture between Mowlem and Kellogg Brown & Root.
