MoD launches South East brownfield disposal programme

The Ministry of Defence plans to sell a portfolio of nine brownfield sites across the South East as part of its rationalisation strategy.

The government department wants to concentrate its operational activities on three sites.

The sites comprise:

  • Kennington Barracks, SE11 – 0.27 acres (0.11ha) that could be redeveloped as houses
  • RAF Eastcote, Middlesex -18.68 acres (7.56ha) that could be redeveloped as houses
