Moda brings single-family housing concept to Doncaster

Casa by Moda, the single-family homes division of developer and operator Moda Group, has bought 100 build-to-rent homes in Doncaster, South Yorkshire.

The scheme, comprising houses ranging from two to four bedrooms, was acquired from Albemarle Homes. It forms part of a wider mixed-residential masterplan, known as Westmoor Grange, comprising just over 400 homes.

Casa by Moda is working with Albemarle to deliver the scheme. It is first time Casa has formed part of a wider housing masterplan, with the homes expected to be ready for occupation this summer.

The neighbourhood, which will be called Casa at Westmoor Grange, provides commuter links to the M18 and is a 10-minute drive to central Doncaster.

Matthew Townson, director of development and projects at Casa by Moda, said: “We have ambitious plans for the future and are looking forward to collaborating with housebuilders like Albemarle Homes, as well as local authorities and landowners, to deliver more new homes across the UK as we progress towards our target of securing 5,000 new homes in the next three years.”
