Birmingham City Council is set to approve Moda Group’s plans for a 462-home scheme in Edgbaston, Birmingham.
New Garden Square, submitted in partnership with landowner Calthorpe Estates, features a 37-storey building. A mix of one, two and three-bedroom homes will be provided on rental terms of up to three years. Amenities within the development will include a roof terrace, 24-hour gym, co-working space and resident lounges, plus 230 cycle parking spaces.
The plans were filed in January and will be discussed in a council planning meeting later this week.
Moda has already announced plans to deliver a major new urban community with up to 1,600 homes and £6m of public realm at New Garden Square. The first phase of that masterplan is currently under construction and will see 392 homes available for rent later this year.
