Molinare signs in Soho

34-fouberts-placeThe post-production house behind Oscar-winning film The King’s Speech and dramas Sherlock and The Crown has signed a new 10-year lease on its West End home.

Molinare occupies the entirety of 34 Foubert’s Place, off Carnaby Street, W1. The firm will pay £1m pa for a 10-year lease on the 20,500 sq ft building, reflecting a 37% rental uplift.

The letting is a vote of confidence in the Soho area, which has traditionally been a hotbed of international film industry occupiers, despite rising rents.

Will Fulton, fund manager at Standard Life Investments advised on the deal, said: “They are a perfect fit for our property in the heart of Soho and, as befits this location in prime Soho, their new 10-year lease provides a good boost to both UKCPT’s income and income duration.”
