Montagu Evans has recruited Gerry Gillingham to become a partner in its retail and leisure business.
Gillingham will be responsible for asset management as well as growing the development arm of its out-of-town retail and leisure team.
Prior to joining the firm Gillingham had established his own advisory business, Gillingham Associates, and has had a 20-year career in the sector, having previously worked for Knight Frank and then CBRE.
Gillingham’s recruitment follows Montagu Evans’ acquisition of Blue Sky Planning last month, which is renowned for advising clients on retail park and warehouse development.
