Montagu Evans names five new partners in promotions drive

Montagu Evans has announced a flurry of new partner promotions across its development, planning, rating and historic environment departments.

Associates Eleanor Cook, Gareth Fox, Anna Russell-Smith, Paul Surgeon and David Taylor have all been promoted to partner level.

Cook specialises in valuation and consultancy on complex jobs, and is also deputy head of the firm’s healthcare group, while Fox specialises in complex regeneration schemes in inner London and the South East. He is also deputy head of the firm’s central London group.

Russell-Smith works with public and private sector clients across London and the South East, specialising in healthcare and housing delivery, while Surgeon is northern lead for the dedicated landlord and developer team.

Taylor is a specialist in strategic planning and design matters relating to development in the historic environment.

In addition, Rosie Adamson, Jonny Goldstone, Rachel Lambert, Harry Wackett, Annie Wilkins and Gregor Wilson have all been promoted to associate level.

Rob Bower, Montagu Evans’ managing partner, said: “This is our largest cohort of partner promotions for some time and reflects our commitment, even during challenging circumstances, to investing in the next generation and their professional development.

“Their skill sets also mean we can offer clients more specialist services within our sector groups as we help to unlock planning and development opportunities nationally.”
