Adrian Montague, head of the PFI taskforce, will meet with the CBI tomorrow in a bid to secure its backing for UK Capital.
The government plans to set up the bank to invest in PFI schemes. But the CBI is concerned that any attempt by UK Capital to fund schemes directly will bring it into direct competition with private sector financiers.
