Planning permission is likely to be granted to convert Morar House in Helensburgh into flats.
The property, located opposite Charles Rennie Mackintosh’s Hill House, was bought by architect Lorn Macneal and was initially due to be converted in 12 flats with extra houses built in the grounds.
Those plans were reworked after objections, and now look likely to go ahead. Macneal has since sold the property but remains the architect for the project.
