FINANCE: Patisserie Valerie has outlined a 20-store expansion plan for 2015.
In its results since listing on the Alternative Investment Market earlier this year, parent company Patisserie Holdings posted a 27.5% jump in revenue to £76.6m in the year to 30 September.
Adjusted pretax profit, accounting for the acquisition of the Philpotts sandwich chain, was up by 37% to £11.3m.
The group now controls 148 stores, with 19 stores opened over the past year. Patisserie Valerie makes up 98 of these, and its £51m contribution to revenue was up 20% on the previous year.
Druckers has 22 sites, with Baker & Spice four more.
