More than 20 £1m+ lots up for grabs at Allsop’s September resi sale

Allsop has released the catalogue for its 30 September online residential auction, which includes 21 lots with guide prices of £1m or more.

Properties on the block include Grade II listed buildings, owner-occupier “value-add” homes, student accommodation, roof spaces and freehold development sites.

The highest-value investment (lot 35) is a freehold five-storey mid-terrace building in Earls Court which is arranged as 14 flats and is guided at £4m-4.5m.

Other highlights of the 236 lots spread across the country include a freehold Grade II listed building and four semi-detached buildings on a site of 1.25 acres in Ruislip, west London (lot 21, pictured), guided at £3.8m+; a freehold Grade II listed building comprising 17 flats with an on-site car park in Cheltenham (lot 28), guided at £1.45m+; and two adjoining freehold buildings with planning permission for a mixed-use development and four parking spaces in Kingston-upon-Thames (lot 74), guided at £2.1m.

Richard Adamson, partner and residential auctioneer at Allsop, said: “We sense an atmosphere of continued confidence in our sector. As the impact of the pandemic recedes, people return to the workplace and the world settles into a new normality, fresh opportunities will emerge.

“We have seen early interest in our catalogue from both domestic and international buyers, while the easing of restrictions and the acceptance of safety measures have helped to increase the number of in-person viewings.

“Even though we are hoping for a safe return to multi-channel in-room sales in the future, there is no question that our online auctions continue to function with extreme efficiency.”
