More than £40m has been spent on maintaining the Northern Ireland Assembly building at Stormont since it was suspended three years ago.
The disclosure was made in a draft budget for Northern Ireland, published by the government.
The budget reveals that total costs run to nearly £100m when the salaries of the 108 assembly members are included.
