Morgan Stanley Dean Witter is expected to announce today it is setting up a call centre in central Scotland for its Discover credit card operation.
The Financial Times repeats in a little more detail yesterday’s reports that JP Morgan is to open a software engineering centre in Scotland. It will be worth £7.3m and it will be sited in the centre of Glasgow.
The Labour party will claim today that Scotland must stay part of the UK if it is to benefit from large inward investment.
