Morpheus construction arm stands alone

Morpheus, the prime residential property developer, has spun off its construction operation.

Icon Build will become the autonomous construction arm of Morpheus. It will run in parallel alongside Morpheus’ luxury development management, residence management and interior design capabilities.

Icon will be responsible for the construction of Morpheus’ own developments, which include The Chelsea Townhouses on Pond Place, SW3, and Ashberg House on Cathcart Road, SW10.

Roy Smith was recently appointed Icon’s operations director. He has previously held executive positions at Morgan Sindall, Birse, Balfour Beatty, Harry Neal and ISG Interior Group.

Andrew Murray, Founder of Morpheus comments: “By separating our skilled construction offering, we can hone and refine our capabilities on both sides of the business, capitalising on our years of expertise and track record of success. We see a great opportunity in the growing prime residential sector and are the only specialists in this area to deliver all aspects of the construction, development, design and property management process.”
