Morrison Homes in £12m Belfast deal

Morrison Homes, in a joint venture with Aero Properties, is developing a £12m luxury residential scheme known as Queens Square, in the heart of Belfast’s city centre.

The eight-storey apartment building will be situated at the junction of Victoria Street and Queens Square. It will house 92 units overlooking the River Lagan and Belfast Lough. The site is owned by Aero Properties and will be developed and apartments sold by Morrison Homes.

Jacqueline Fearon, regional manager Morrison Homes (Ireland) said: “The deal is the first partnership between Morrison Homes and Aero Properties. This apartment scheme is located in a historical part of Belfast which is undergoing significant regeneration.”

Prices will range from £90,000 to £200,000 for the apartments and work will start on site by June. Completion of the first phase will be in summer 2001.
