Leeds-based investor Town Centre Securities has signed a deal with Morrisons to expand its supermarket at the Merrion Centre by 10,000 sq ft.
Morrisons will absorb the former Peacocks unit adjacent to its existing site and extend its anchor lease until 2040.
TCS has also bought the freehold interest in units two, three and six Waterside Business Park, Leeds.
The three units were purchased from clients of CBRE Investors for £4.5m – a net initial yield of 7.25%.
Tenants include SW Group Logistics, European Stock Solutions and Daniels Chilled Foods.
The units are detached industrial warehouses totalling 77,400 sq ft.
