Morrisons yesterday angered union leaders when it announced plans to close three depots putting 2,500 jobs at risk as it continues talks with the Transport & General Workers Union and GMB Union over job security for the group’s distribution workers.
Morrisons said it intended to close distribution hubs in Aylesford, Bristol and Warrington.
