Morro gets thumbs-up for 150-home scheme in east London
Morro, Scape Group’s co-living developer, has been granted planning permission for its 150-home co-living scheme on Kingsland Road in Haggerston, E2.
The plans, revised from a previously approved 2020 submission, include an extra 31 homes.
The approved proposal, include amenities such as a gym, co-working spaces and a rooftop accessible to all residents.

The development includes redeveloping a vacant 0.5-acre site. The scheme will support Hackney in reaching its housing targets as well as providing more than 16,000 sq ft of affordable workspace.
This is the fourth major co-living scheme in London for which Morro has secured planning permission, following approvals in Surrey Quays, Hackney Wick and Walthamstow.
