Mount Anvil plans Royal Docks homes

A joint venture between Mount Anvil and London International Exhibition Centre has submitted plans for around 800 homes on Western Gateway in the Royal Docks, E16.

The site lies a stone’s throw from both the Excel exhibition centre and the new Crossrail station at Custom House, due to open later this year.

It is proposing 796 new homes, with 35% affordable, in buildings of up to 22 storeys in height.

Skidmore, Owings & Meryl is the architect. DP9 is the planning consultant.

The scheme will make up phases two and three of Royal Docks West. Construction is due to complete in early 2019 on phase one, where Mount Anvil is building 105 homes in a 20-storey tower.

Of the 105 homes, 63 have been either reserved or sold, as of 10 May. Details of the pricing, according to Radius Data Exchange, can be seen below.
