Mountpark has let all 1.2m sq ft of its Baldonnell site in Dublin, signing DB Schenker for the final 133,806 sq ft.
The logistics giant will use the building to service one of its major global clients. The deal is due to complete in May 2022.
The letting means that all five buildings at Mountpark Baldonnell have been leased prior to practical completion, with other tenants including United Drug and Home Store + More.
Associate director Brett Huxley said: “This transaction marks the first letting that Mountpark has concluded with DB Schenker across our European operations and we look forward to developing our relationship with the company in future.”
Ray Hennessy, chief executive of DB Schenker UK & Ireland, added: “This is one of three new facilities DB Schenker will open in Ireland during 2022, extending our overall capacity beyond 800,000 sq ft across 14 sites in Dublin, Cork and Shannon, with over 700 employees.”
At the end of 2021, Mountpark received planning permission for the final phase of Mountpark Baldonnell, totalling 169,263 sq ft.
