Muji chooses Whiteleys shopping centre for largest UK store

Japanese lifestyle store Muji is to open its sixth and largest UK store at Whiteleys shopping centre in Bayswater, west London.

Muji’s parent company Ryohin Keikaku (Europe) has taken a 492 sq m (5,300 sq ft) unit at ground and first floor levels on a 15-year lease with five yearly rent reviews. It is paying £120,000 pa. The unit was previously occupied by Books Etc, which has relocated to a larger store at the scheme.
