Multi Development to extend Wolverhampton scheme

Multi Development is poised to extend its plans for the £265m Wolverhampton regeneration project New Summer Row. The extended scheme will include refurbishment of the buildings on Worcester Street and Victoria Street, both of which are in the Worcester Street Conservation Area. The refurbishment, including reinstatement of features such as traditional shop fronts and timber sash windows, will be a part of the development of the 60,000 sq ft retail-led New Summer Row scheme. The application, which Multi expects to submit soon, will also include a new building on the corner of Temple Street and Worcester Street. The scheme will open in 2010. Multi Development is a division of Netherlands-based Multi Corporation.
