Muse and Poplar HARCA approved for Stroudley Walk resi

Muse Developments and housing association Poplar HARCA have been granted planning consent to build 274 homes at Stroudley Walk in Bromley-by-Bow, east London.

Tower Hamlets’ planning committee unanimously approved the plans for the redevelopment of Warren House at the committee meeting on 18 May.

The scheme comprises four blocks, including a 25-storey tower. It provides 51% affordable housing.

Paul Dooley, director of development and regeneration at Poplar HARCA, said: “The changes brought about through the redevelopment of Stroudley Walk will transform this somewhat forgotten part of Bromley-by-Bow.

“Stroudley Walk has a unique and rich history, having close links to both the suffragette movement and Mahatma Gandhi.”
