Muse Developments has been selected as the preferred development partner for a £36m town centre office scheme in Colwyn Bay, North Wales.
The developer will put forward plans to transform a Grade-II listed civic building into 95,000 sq ft of offices for Conwy county borough council as the local authority looks to consolidate up to 13 offices on one site.
The new three-storey development, which would replace the existing tax office site in Coed Pella Road, is part of the council’s wider strategy to regenerate Colwyn Bay town centre.
A public consultation will take place early next year prior to a planning application being submitted.
