Muse Development’s £350m Union Square scheme in Swindon, Wiltshire, has secured outline planning permission.
The redevelopment scheme comprises 650,000 sq ft of offices, 150,000 sq ft of retail, 450 homes, a hotel and an 850-space car park.
Doug Finlay, development director at Muse, said: “Confirmation by Swindon borough council of the outline planning permission is the first significant milestone if this part of the town centre is to undergo change.”
The scheme will be delivered in phases, with construction expected to commence next year.
