Mustard Entertainment Restaurants is planning to roll out about 20 more Brannigans bars over the next 18 months to two years.
Mustard, which is buying the late-night bars and clubs chain from Candover for £67m, will take on 14 Brannigans bars, three themed sports bars in Aberdeen, Milton Keynes and Stockport and three traditional pubs in Glasgow.
A fourth sports bar will open in Birmingham next month and four new sites for Brannigans have been identified. Southampton and Bristol will be home to new bars mid-October and Warrington the following month and Norwich, early next year. Mustard is in talks to buy a small chain of themed restaurants which is expected to take about eight weeks to complete.
