Serviced office provider MWB Business Exchange has found a site for its West End flagship. In an off-market deal, it has taken a prelet of Golden Cross House, Duncannon Street, WC2.
The 3,764m2 (40,500 sq ft), six-storey building has been acquired on a new sublease expiring in November 2010 at a rent of £1.15m pa, with six months rent free. As part of the deal, landlord Mars Pension Fund will spend £3m refurbishing the building to MWB’s specifications. The centre is scheduled to open in October.
MWB chief executive Richard Balfour-Lynn said: “This is a centrally located property overlooking Charing Cross Station, and its configuration is ideal for our use.”
Allsop & Co acted for MWB, while Jones Lang LaSalle advised Mars Pension Fund.
