MWH Global has taken a 10-year lease on 25,000 sq ft at Salford’s Soapworks.
The first and second phases of the 400,000 sq ft development are now 90% full following a string of lettings, and the scheme accounted for nearly a quarter of Manchester take-up in the past three months.
The first two phases of the Carlyle Group, Nikal and Abstract Securities-owned development were completed seven months ago. A total of 185,000 sq ft has been let to tenants including TalkTalk and the Home Office at rents of around £15 per sq ft. A further 160,000 sq ft is planned for the next phase of the development at block D.
JLL and Canning O’Neill are joint agents; CBRE acted for MWH.
