The 21st annual IPD/IPF Investment Conference kicked off in Brighton this morning.

More than 400 delegates have gathered at the Grand Hotel in Brighton for the two-day event, which was opened by conference chair Malcolm Naish, director of real estate at Scottish Widows Investment Partnership.

Speakers include REIT bosses, such as Hammerson chief executive David Atkins, and key banking figures, such as Andrew Wilson from Lloyds Banking Group, who will discuss the implication of regulation for debt, trading and leases.

The conference closes tomorrow with a grand debate featuring OLIM’s Matthew Oakeshot, British Land’s Chris Grigg, Colliers’ Tony Horrell and Tesco Pension Fund’s Jenny Buck.
