FINANCE: Ireland’s National Asset Management Agency has brought a €778m (£620m) portfolio of non-performing loans associated with hotel investor Gerry Barrett to market.
Galway-based Barrett owned hotels across Ireland, including the 101-bedroom, five-star G Hotel in Galway.
Nama announced earlier this month that it plans to bring €600m of assets to market by the end of 2014.
